The National Park Krka is a natural and karstic phenomenon.

With seven travertine waterfalls having a total fall of 242meters, Krka is a natural and karstic phenomenon.Because of its landscape, hydrological as well as its historical value and beauty, in 1985 the area around its course along with the surrounding coastal area- from the historical town of Knin, not far from the source of the Krka, to the historical town of Skradin, was proclaimed a national park.
