GreenOn Movement is a project created by a group of interdisciplinary students and young entrepreneurs from the University of Zagreb. The project goal is to include young people in the society, promote innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, socially responsible behavior, green technologies and energy efficiency
The GreenOn Movement is consisted of three parts: GreenOn Innovation Expo, GreenOn Startup Academy, and GreenOn Open Air.
GreenOn Innovation Expo-u The GreenOn Innovation Expo is a place where young innovators can display their work to interested companies, venture capital fonds and the general public. Also, at the Expo there will be a number of workshops and seminars, where visitors will be shown top examples of green business concepts in use. The best young innovator will receive 20 000 HRK of financial aid as well as services of our partners through the founder’s package. The winner will be chosen by the festival visitors and an expert jury
GreenOn StartUp Academy Get Start at Start Up Academy! Start Up Academy is a two day event. First part of the academy will be a set of interactive classes with successful and aspiring entrepreneurs where they will give applicable advices for what will come the next day. Beginning with lectures and workshops on Friday, attendees will be divided in teams. Each team will have a mentor that will guide them through project. Over Friday and Saturday teams should create a business plan from an idea to a final product practicing LEAN Start-up Methodologies, focusing on all aspects of market. On Saturday evening best teams will have an opportunity to show their final prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts. Of course there will be prizes for best projects in every category
The GreenOn Open Air will be held on august 10th at the Zadar peninsula. The headliners of the festival will be Pendulum, Freestylers and Franky Goes Deep, backed by a number of Croatian and Italian DJ’s. The festival will promote innovation and green technologies as well as environmental awareness. Have you heard of Alfred Hitchcock’s : “Zadar has the most beautiful sunset in the world, more beautiful than the one in Key West, Florida, applauded at every evening.” Come and see for yourself, enjoy the unique music of the sea organs and the dance of colors at the greeting the sun monument, and then take a 2 min straw to enjoy the best music festival at the Adriatic seaside in august.
